Kakumeiki Valvrave Season 2

The anime series is produced by Sunrise.[3] It is directed by Kō Matsuo, written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, and features original character designs by Katsura Hoshino.[4] The series premiered on MBS (Animeism block) on April 12, 2013.[5] The anime series has been licensed in North America by Aniplex of America and is Australia and New Zealand by Hanabee Entertainment. and is streamed with English subtitles by Crunchyroll and Hulu.[5][6] The anime series ran for two seasons, with the second one having premiered in October 2013.[7] Aniplex began releasing the series in Japan on Blu-ray and DVD volumes starting on June 26, 2013.[8]

Valvrave the Liberator has received generally positive critical response by publications for anime and other media. The series has been remarked by Anime News Network's Theron Martin for its delivery of conventional story elements, life as seen from the point of view of teenagers, in a way not seen before.[25] Martin also listed it as one of his guilty pleasures from 2013, comparing the execution of its story with Code Geass.[26] While Valvrave has been compared with the Gundam franchise for its use of mechas and pilots by several writers,[27][28] Kotaku's Richard Eisenbeis, it stands out for its "over-the-top" elements such as the Valvrave's curse which makes Haruto's act like a vampire as well as the multiple moves the mecha can perform.[28] The second season has been noted for its darker episodes with Kestrel Swift from The Fandom Post addressing the multiple character deaths that gave the story a notable impact as well as the main cast going through major development after going through harsh events.[29][30] The animation has also been praised for its presentation of violent scenes as well CGI during the Valvraves' fights.[25][31] The character designs also received similar response.[27]

This anime is pretty crazy. I have been up and down on it for quite some time, but I have grown to love what we have gotten from it recently. I am a big fan of Kakumeiki Valvrave as of around episode six and I am glad to see that the series is getting a second season. We are currently at episode eleven of the first season and I know that things will be nowhere near over come next week. The surprising thing about this announcement is the timing for the release of the second season. Even though the first season is ending in June, the second one is set to come out in October of the same year. I guess Sunrise has the money to throw around, but I am used to actually waiting for things to come out. Kyoto Animation seems to struggle with new seasons of established series. Oh well, I consider Kakumeiki Valvrave to be one of the best series in the Spring 2013 lineup and I could not be happier about the second season coming out.

Kakumeiki Valvrave, is my favorite anime this season. Haruto dying is one I expected but do not want to happen because I at least want him to have a good life with Shoko or even Saki But this anime would have been more awesome if it has two seasons with twenty plus episodes per season. Maybe the possibility of S3 is slim but if they decided to have one I think it would be the New generation and things like that.

Well i agree that the ending sucked but the way the story was going i pretty much guessed it but still it would have been awesome if haruto would have survived and lived happily with shoko (since rukino was a total bitch)but still the anime was good specially for those who like action.and i think their would be no season 3 for sure :( because the end was justified.

Also another thing i failed to mention regarding the Valvrave serie. How come Haruto and Marie were the only one that were so incredibly affected by memory loss. All the others seemed to do just fine. And Rukino was flying around in the future fighting other dudes long after the whole series took place. And she seemed just fine and didnt seem to have any memory losses of what happened. Take a look at Episode 7 start season 1. IT DOES NOT FIT ANYWHERE to what really happens in season 2. 200 years?! WTH? 041b061a72
