Parallels For Mac Snow Leopard
I am trying to install mac os high sierra on my new mac running catalina using parallels. I am getting a message that Parallels does not support anything beyond Snow Leopard. Is that correct or am I doing something wrong.

Migration assistant is also available within Snow Leopard server in case you want to migrate other software programs from a computer running snow leopard and rosetta apps, such as: Font managers, design utilities, Photoshop or Illustrator (pre-CC), Fonts, files and other discontinued apps.
This depends on how your network card is setup in the virtual machine. I don't know how it is in parallels, but in VMWare Fusion you can either set it up as "bridged" (which means sharing the same ip with the host), "NAT" which means it will have it's own private ip address and connect to the internet through the host , or "Private network" which means it will have a private IP address and will not connect to the internet. In the second and third case you can access the web server running on windows using the private ip address of the virtual machine, but in the bridge case I don't think this can be done.
The Entourage team is about to release a version of Entourage 2008 that uses Exchange Web Services instead of WebDAV. (Check mactopia.com and you should be able to find the public preview version). EWS is much more performant than WebDAV or MAPI, and the fact that Apple said that Snow Leopard will support Exchange 2007 (see www.apple.com/macosx/snowleopard/) indicates very strongly that they won't be using MAPI.
